Booking Policy for Shimla View Homestay, Mashobra
1. Booking Confirmation
1.1 To secure a reservation at Shimla View Homestay, Mashobra, guests are required to pay an advance deposit of 10% of the total booking amount. This advance is mandatory to confirm your stay.
1.2 Bookings without advance payments are considered tentative and may be automatically canceled if payment is not received within the specified time frame.
1.3 Once the advance payment is received, a confirmation email or WhatsApp message will be sent to the guest. Please ensure that you provide the correct contact details when making your reservation.
2. Payment Methods
2.1 We accept advance payments through bank transfers. The bank account details for the transfer will be provided during the booking process.
2.2 After making the payment, guests must send a screenshot of the transaction via email to booking@shimlaviewhomestay.com or via WhatsApp to +918169611240 or +917087331240.
2.3 The remaining balance can be paid upon check-in at the homestay. We accept payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and UPI services.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 For Cancellations Made by Guests:
- More than 4 days before check-in: The advance deposit is fully refundable, minus a small processing fee, if applicable.
- 7-14 days before check-in: 50% of the advance deposit will be refunded.
- Less than 4 days before check-in: The advance deposit is non-refundable.
3.2 For Modifications to Your Booking:
- Date changes or modifications to your booking are allowed up to 14 days before check-in without any extra charge, subject to availability.
- Changes made less than 14 days before check-in will be considered cancellations, and the cancellation policy will apply.
4. No-Show Policy
4.1 If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior communication, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and the entire advance deposit will be forfeited.
5. Early Check-in and Late Check-out
5.1 Early Check-in:
- Early check-in is subject to room availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us in advance to inquire about the possibility of early check-in.
5.2 Late Check-out:
- Late check-out is also subject to availability.
6. Group Bookings
6.1 For group bookings (3 or more rooms), a 25% deposit of the total amount is required at the time of booking.
6.2 The group booking deposit is non-refundable if canceled less than 10 days before the check-in date.
6.3 For group bookings, any modifications to the reservation must be made at least 10 days in advance to avoid cancellation charges.
7. Children and Extra Beds
7.1 Children under 5 years of age stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding with parents.
7.2 For children above 5 years or additional adults, extra beds can be provided upon request at an additional charge.
8. Pet Policy
8.1 Pets are not allowed at Shimla View Homestay, Mashobra with prior notice. There may be an additional cleaning fee for guests bringing pets. Please inform us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements for a comfortable stay.
9. Liability
9.1 Shimla View Homestay is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during your stay. Guests are advised to keep valuables in secure locations.
9.2 The management reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel a reservation in case of any inappropriate behavior or violation of the homestay policies.
